Bokkmarks aren't sorted by date anymore

Hi, I'm in trouble
I backed up my bookmarks to a file, and imported them in another computer.
When I returned to the first computer a day later, the searches results in Bookmark-search-plus-2 lost their original sorting by the date they were created., Folders I originaly created in sequence, are now scattered and not shown one after another..
Please tell me there is a way to restore their sorting as it was, by date of creation... or maybe there's a backup in windows file history I can use?

Update: Managed to fix the issue, here's how:
Restored with windows file history the files: "places.sqlite", "favicons.sqlite" and the recent file in the folder "bookmarkbackups" (they're all inside Firefox profile folder in "appdata").
Then, copied them to FF profile folder and overwrite the existing files.
Restared FF, and the search results were back in order, by date of creation.

Hello @Teflonim , sorry, I was in vacations and I am only seeing your message now.
I understand that you made the backup through the Firefox Bookmark Manager, correct ? Di you back it up as a .json file ?

The change in sort is a surprising result .. I can only presume that maybe you reimported just behind the .json file, and it changed everything indeed.
You were fortunate then to have Windows file history active indeed, which allowed you to restore the bookmarks/favicons DBs !

Yes, the backup was via FF Bookmark Manager, and it was a .json file.
Scary experience, but I'm proud of myself I managed to solve it on my own :)
I'm so used to BSP2, have thousands of bookmarks, don't know what I'd do without it. I use it even to summarize books I read, adding paragraphs as bookmarks as I go on. Than, if I stamble on an article or news that reminds me of things I read, I add them to the folders.
