Hello, I am not an expert on bookmark synchronization, so I cannot really speak on that ... I would advise that you check on the web what happened to others in similar situation, reconnecting an older PC with synchronized bookmarks / accounts. On your second question, I believe that if you do a backup (Bookmarks->Manage Bookmarks->Import - Export), they do keep their timestamps. At least, I could check that the timestamps still exist in the .json file generated by the Backup operation. Now the question is what would happen when restoring the old version, on the bookmarks and folders created after the restore ? (reverse question from yours above). However, this would merit a test. And at any rate, a backup on the current side to make sure that you can recover in case things go wrong. |
