Main Octopi Application Does Not Find Updates to AUR Packages During Check Updates, But Octopi Notifier Finds Them And Performs System Upgrade #627

Description

I am running Manjaro v26.0.1 and have several AUR packages installed. All stable branch updates from the Manjaro repositories are applied and packages are up-to-date.

Until a recent system update (perhaps a month or two ago), the main Octopi app would indicate any AUR apps that had updates in the repository when I did a Check Updates. It did this by changing the app icon from green to red, and indicating the details of the new version in the bottom panel Info tab. I could then update the packages from within Octopi via right-clicking and choosing update package.

However, after the recent update, the main Octopi app does not show any pending updates for AUR packages, even when the terminal command 'yay -Qu' shows the pending updates.

Also, even though the main Octopi app no longer shows pending updates for AUR apps, the Octopi Notifier system tray app still correctly shows pending AUR updates, turning yellow when I right-click and do Check Updates. It also properly presents the System Upgrade command with the AUR icon in the right-click menu. If I select the System Upgrade command Octopi Notifier will correctly update all pending AUR packeges.

It seems that a bug has been introduced in the update handling of the main Octopi app, separate from the Octopi Notifier app. I am attaching a SysInfo dump from the Octopi app (shortened by removing the journalctl section.
