Pacman groups not showing up? #628

I don't know if this is within the purview of the Octopi project, but I recently finished addressing a person who was trying to install Xfce4 on top of their present system instance and the group xfce4 isn't to be be seen in the available packages, in spite of the fact one could type the group in as a software to install with pacman and be prompted for the necessary packages to install from said group.
Are we doing something embarassingly wrong with Octopi, or does it just lack the function to show software groups?
