I came across this concept on SCN when I read this blog post, which explained how to use htmx to create Fiori-like apps. Over-the-wire approaches include server-side rendering (SSR) similar to that of a multi-page application (MPA). However, after the initial request, the browser retrieves only HTML fragments asynchronously via AJAX, so the entire page is not re-rendered anymore.
