I typically disable the line_break_style rule, there is too much that can influence it like git settings

End-of-line markers aside. Is there a way to tell abaplint this is AFF? Basically, don't look after an XML file but instead use the the JSON file for the metadata?

I guess this is a much broader discussion. See object type DDLS that in AFF is .acds and in abapGit format .asddls. So formatting can not be applied, along all other ls language features.
