PHASE 1: Wrong IP or Port number breaks the app

If the IP address is entered incorrectly or the Port number is, the app shuts down and closes.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Enter the wrong IP
   Result: It breaks
2. Enter the wrong Port number
   Result: It breaks also
