Hello everyone :)
I'd like to propose a new idea for the GitHub Readme Generator and get your thoughts on it.
The Concept :
The idea is to introduce a simple, non-intrusive feedback system that appears after a user has successfully generated their README.
Instead of a traditional review page, this would be a prompt asking users to share their experience. It would be a space for them to provide detailed feelings about the process: what they liked, what was confusing, and any suggestions they might have for improvement.
How It Could Work :
A user fills out the form and clicks "Generate README."
Once the README is created and displayed, a small, friendly pop-up or a section at the bottom of the page would appear.
It would ask something like, "How was your experience?" with a text box for users to type in their detailed feedback.
This feedback would come directly to us, helping to guide the future development of the tool.
Why Do This ?
The main goal is to gather genuine, in-the-moment feedback to help us understand:
User Experience: How easy and enjoyable is the generator to use?
Pain Points: Are there any steps that are confusing or frustrating?
Feature Ideas: What new features would make the tool even more useful?
This would be a direct line of communication from you, the user, to us, the developers, helping to shape the future of the project.
What are your thoughts on this? Would you find a system like this useful? We're open to all ideas and suggestions!
