Hi, I am willing to switch from an other helpdesk to libredesk. It is a very promising project. I wonder why libredesk puts the email of the inbox in the cc field? In my case, we receive emails directly from users or via our website to an alias called So the inbox has a different address and I don't want it to be exposed/used. That's why I specified the From of the inbox to the same address as the alias. When the user replies, it reply to the alias address (From) and the conversation will be updated. Best regards, |

Hi,
Check:
libredesk/frontend/src/utils/email-recipients.js
Line 37 in 3d5db7b
It removes the inbox's
fromaddress from the cc and to fields. But in your case, the from address issupport@domain.comand nottoto-support@domain.com.I think I should add a field in the inbox form called
inbox_emailwhich would also get removed fromtoandccfields. This is because IMAP credentials could be non-email format as well (I think). This way you could set:
inbox_email:toto-support@domain.com(your actual inbox, which would be hidden)from:support@domain.com(what customers see)And the JS snippet can be modified to also remove the
inbox_emailfield.
