Automations and Macros ability to interact with Custom Attributes

When dealing with large org with multiple brands, Custom Attributes for "Brand" or "Company" is super useful for conversations; So I was looking at setting these attributes via an Automation rule - can't set Custom Attributes via Automations or Macros.
