Can't download Youtube files through Firefox

I was recently able to download YouTube files two days ago, but now no matter what video I'm on it says "No media to process in the current tab Click play on video to help detect files…" Playing the files doesn't help, re-downloading the companion app doesn't help nor does any update through Firefox or Windows. I've contributed to the app maker so I hope someone can chime in what;s going on. Version 9.1.0.44

I am experiencing the same problem as of two days ago. The problem only occurs when attempting to download a youtube video. "No media to process in current tab" ...
#1074 speaks to the problem but this post is an old post.
