Support VTT / SRT / ASS subtitles from the streaming sites. For instance, this project is similar to you, but supports subtitle extraction. Unfortunately, it is abandoned and doesn't work for all the websites.

Addon & CoApp version and details

I don't use the CoApp. Only the extension, to get the HLS and file URLs. And then use yt-dlp to download them.

Extension details:
Version 9.3.0.1 (stable), target mozilla, locale en-US.

I do not work for VDH. I'm just another user.

We have been told that subtitle support within VDH is "in the works." When it will appear has not been announced. In other words, holding your breath is certainly not advised.

For me that is the only lack of this addon. I hope it will be put in soon.
