I'm trying to download a video from youtube (url is below) on Firefox v136.0.2 using VDH Version 9.3.0.1 but the VDH icon is greyed out and says there is no media to process. Are you aware of a problem with yourube? I rebooted my PC and still have the problem

I am having this issue as well. Out of a dozen videos, only one was downloadable. I'm guessing YouTube did an update and it locked out VDH.

Same problem here. No Media found. I'm in US, using Firefox 136.0.1 on Mac. I don't really use Firefox so happy to downgrade if anyone knows how.

Same problem. It died at some point this afternoon. It was working fine prior to then. Maybe Youtube deployed a code change? I tried upgrading to the latest beta 9.3.1.1 and still nothing shows up for Youtube videos.

The latest beta v9.3.1.2 only shows a 360p download option on Youtube videos. I suppose it's better than nothing but just barely. :) Certainly not archive-worthy quality. If this report is helpful, here is more detail: I use Youtube logged in on Firefox 64bit on Windows 10.

I tried multiple videos. This is the result for all of them.

No, but I did find something interesting: A livestream shows the proper full set of resolutions for download (which is weird because it's still airing, so there's no way it could download it since it hasn't finished yet.

Tried in Private window just now with a regular video (not livestream). Same result, only 360p option available. But also noticed it first did a quick display of four 6kb mp3 options, which were replaced with the one 360p mp4 option.

I have the same problem with Video Download Helper and YouTube.
I tried updating Firefox and reinstalling VDH and now it's even worse: I entered my VDH license number and it gives "License locked (check email)".

I paid for my VDH license many years ago. So, now not only does VDH not work anymore, it won't even accept my license number. ⸘Please help‽

I think that happened to me once when I hit my 5 install limit due to upgrading machines and laptops. I just cleared the # of installs and it was fine. Maybe check email!

How do clear the number of installs? I didn't know there was a limit. I've had various machines over the years. All I know is that it suddenly stoped working when it was working great before.

I just tried in a Private window (which is logged out) and 1080p is showing available now, however this beta does not resolve the original issue of it downloading with incorrect audio languages. Both of these videos as examples, are English language videos being watched in English, but are downloaded in dubbed Spanish instead: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHCp1aRkwH0 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eoIjhNuTaz4
I believe you are working on this issue of the multiple language streams and finding a way to have it download the correct audio stream, so just reporting this as confirmation that it is not yet fixed. Thanks.

Same. Paid version, won't recognize any video in YouTube. Chrome/FireFox, same issue. Win11, all latest browser and extension versions. This is really killing me as I use this for business!

With the latest beta, things seem to be working well. I am able to choose the resolution (1080p, 480p, etc.) and YouTube downloads are successful where they were not before.

I did find that I had to click on the link for the new beta (9.3.5.0) and have it update. There wasn't an automatic update to the latest beta.

ffprobe able to identify audio/video stream ID's and ffmpeg able to use this information to download video with correct audio track.

It is working for me (in UK).

Each day I often experience an outage where either downloads are not detected, or the download fails. The outage duration is about an hour, and seems to be related to how much I have already downloaded (that is not definitive).
Firefox 141.0.3 under Linux, with VDH 9.5.0.2.
