Chromium Licensing: Does a Chrome License Cover All Chromium-Based Browsers?

Hello,

I'm planning to purchase a download helper extension for both Firefox and Chromium browsers. I noticed that separate licenses are required for Firefox and Chromium—but I'm a bit confused about how licensing works within the Chromium ecosystem. For instance, there's one license for Chrome and another for Edge. Does this mean I need to purchase separate licenses for each Chromium-based browser, or does a Chrome license extend its coverage to all browsers built on Chromium (such as Edge, Opera, Brave, etc.)?

Yes, licenses are lifetime but per browser.
We officially support Edge, Chrome and Firefox.
Some Chrome based browsers should work with Chrome extension but no guarantee.

Thanks for the clarification. I use Firefox, Edge, and Brave, and I’m considering trying other Chromium-based browsers as well—especially since I’ve had some issues with Firefox lately. I'm happy to purchase a license per browser if necessary; however, I'd prefer not to pay for multiple licenses when they're essentially for the same browser family. Also, if Ladybird becomes available, I'll probably license that too.

Chrome license should work on other chromium browsers. However the chrome extension is not permitted to work on Youtube.
Only Firefox and Edge work for that purpose. Also a license is not needed on Linux, only Windows and Mac.
