Yes I see they are doing something in a unorthodox way which is why there is no detection. I have figured out 2 ways.
One is easier but you get the video and audio as separate files that you'll need some software to merge afterwards.
The other way is a little harder but you get a complete file. What quality do you want to get ?

Ok when you respond I have a easier method than the other 2 ways. It provides a 720p video.

What you need first is an extension to change the user agent. Once you have it, choose a mobile user agent like android or ios.
Then go back to the canva video, you should have a file to download. There may also be small files there in the menu. Ignore those.
Once your done, don't forget to switch back to your default user agent.

Thanks for sharing. I just tried this, however, it did not work for me. I downloaded 'User-Agent Switcher and Manager' from the Chrome Store (https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/user-agent-switcher-and-m/bhchdcejhohfmigjafbampogmaanbfkg) and switched it to Chrome Android and refreshed the tab and it only detects 2 files: an .mp3 file which I can download but it doesn't play, and a .mp4 video file which works but has no audio.

Well first of all I use the same extension and it appears broken in the latest version. I've dropped back to the previous version on
Firefox. Even so it still doesn't work, canva must have changed something as the mp4 file doesn't appear.
The next option is open the developer tools, you'll see mp4 files. This is the video and audio, open the mp4 links in a new tab.
You should get video and audio that can be saved but they will be separate files. See the image.

Thanks for the reply! I tried to do what you're saying (Dev tools ---> Network) even before I searched online and it looked to me like the video streams in tiny separate packets so I wouldn't be able to easily download the entire video at once, but only tiny packets of it manually one at a time, which wouldn't be feasible. My false assumption is what led me to search for a solution online and that is what led me to this thread.

But after reading your reply, I tried again, and I was seeing the same result (multiple tiny 200-400 kb .mp4 files, just like in your screenshot) and I thought the same thing, it's not feasibly to download all these tiny files and combine them afterwards. I was about to give up. But then I read that you said to 'open the video and audio links in a new tab'. So I clicked on one of the small .mp4 files and opened it in a new tab and to my surprise, it actually showed me the ENTIRE video, not just a tiny snippet of it like I thought it would. Then I opened up one of the tiny .m4a files and it opened up the audio file for the ENTIRE video, not just a fraction of it like I thought it would. AMAZING!

All to say, you're method actually worked! WOOOO!!!! I already used Shutter Encoder program (https://www.shutterencoder.com/) to easily combine both the audio and video using it's 'replace audio' function, and I have a complete .mp4 file with video and audio in one.

PS. I provided all these details so that I may hopefully help someone else who may be facing the same challenges/assumptions that I faced haha. And I also learned a new way (and extension) to help download videos that otherwise seem impossible to download. I'm eternally grateful. Thanks again!
