Just a question: do you plan to support download of Podia videos? That would be awesome!!

It's for legit use: I've a FlutterFlow course that I'd like to download to practice in the train, where internet connection is super bad -> so I'd like to download the course videos to be able to practice Flutterflow in the train :)

Thanks for the information. I get failure right at the start after clicking download. It may be that a fix is required in the extension.
If and when that happens I don't know, I'm a user like you. But when you are back online I have a workaround that works.

In the link where you see video.mpd just change mpd to m3u8 in a text editor. Copy and paste in a new tab page.
There should be detection and the download should work.

I probably didn't explain this properly, the browser will download a m3u8 file. That is no surprise, I have Firefox set to always ask where to save files. This provides a prompt to save or cancel m3u8 file. The m3u8 file is not what is needed so just delete it.
When you paste the modified m3u8 link in a new tab, look to the extension. It should become colored, meaning it detected the video. This is what you want since the mpd link fails. Does this solve the issue for you.

Hi Mattmjs, Awesome, thank you for your explanation, it all makes sense to me now. I tried, and you are right : your hint does the trick!! Once I pasted the URL and changed the .mpd suffix to .m3u8, the file was downloaded (as you said, I deleted it, useless file), then I could see the video in the Video DownloadHelper extension and download the video :D Thanks a mega bunch for your help !!
