Unable to download large videos from www.coomer.su [NSFW]

I've always been able to download pretty much any video from the site www.coomer.su [NSFW] since I had the app. But about a week or two ago I've been unable to download certain large videos. As seen in the screenshots [censored], some videos will start to download while others won't at all. Some will show a failed download message while others will show "as successfully downloaded" but the file is only a few seconds long. Any help would be welcome. Thanks.

I've seen this issue. Coomer times out and the downloads fail. They can be hit or miss and from what I can tell, it's down to the site's inability to load the media file and it's chunks in a timely manner. Download Helper is the better tool but not for uncooperative sources.

On Windows, I tried several other downloaders and they all take work and depending on your determination, I found Neat Download Manager works best for me on that site. Copy and paste the URL Coomer provides under the "Download" header, and so long as the transfer starts, the file will be retrieved eventually. Download Helper will give up when Coomer inevitably halts the transfer and you have to manually restart the download but Neat will keep trying.

The key is: the file has to start. If it doesn't then you can keep reloading it or try again later. Once the transfer starts, then you can ignore the process and let Neat do its thing.

Sadly, Neat lacks cool features from other software, such as importing file address lists or renaming the files you grab, but it is the only one that finishes the files unattended... even if it takes 24 hours for 500mb.

Neat does not allow you rename your downloads so you will have to keep track of what you are grabbing and be able to rename what you get when finished.

So have a seat, collect a handful of URLs from Coomer, then feed them to Neat one by one. I load 12 at a time as I've seen "Too Many Connections" errors, but I don't know what the limit is. 12 seems like a safe number.

EDIT: The files you get can be stupid large and if you get more than a handful, you may look into making them smaller with Handbrake or Unmanic.
