It's probably the small pieces of the video sent to your browser when you play it. As soon as the video starts pause it to prevent the menu filling with small files. You probably need to find something that's hls or mpd. |

Same here. I tested both with Chrome and Firefox. When I download the video, it is just a black background video with 1kb. When I open the download helper panel, the thumbnail of the video shows correctly, but I have an option MP4 - 1Kb. |

Can you do the following on a video that has the issue, click the 3 dots button next to download. Command+A to select all on the page. |

If that is all the details provide then it is not helpful. What does VDH say in the menu, is it HTTP media, hls or MPD ? |

I do not work for VDH. I am just another user. Also, please read #2214. I'm running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit version 24H2 build 26100.4652, Firefox 140.0.4 64-bit, licensed VDH 9.5.0.2, CoApp 2.0.20. I visited the web page whose URL is provided in the information the original poster gave us: https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7349376976278716416/ VDH offered one variant of HTTPmedia. That means this is not a chunked video, just a plain old MP4. Its duration is 1 minute. VDH downloaded it in just a couple of seconds. It played fine in VLC. There apparently is no audio with this. Even if you play it in the player on the web page, you hear no audio. In any case, I was able to get this one no problem. Our original poster is using Chrome. I'm using Firefox. This would not be the first time Firefox handled something better than Chrome did. |

Hello,
last week everything was still working. Now the plugin does see that there is a video, but they are all 1kb.
When I download the video the file is not working.
