OK, so after my previous question from yesterday (reg. the language/audio auto-selection issue -- which may be still be unresolved), now, it seems that the app is unable to download any video from YouTube.
Again, I have the full paid/licensed version (v9.5.0.0 (beta) ) for Firefox.
The app seems to detect the videos alright - even shows the options of resolution/quality & type (mp4, mkv), but on downloading, it just doesn't download, and asks to 'report the error'.
Anyone else facing this issue?

OK, an update.
I switched to the latest 'stable' version (v9.5.0.2) for my Firefox browser; reinstalled the license key, and started to try & download YT videos.
However, not only is the issue of YT videos unable to being downloaded still persistent, there is some weird behaviour of the app.
The app clearly recognizes the videos; gives the options (mp4, mkv, etc; 1080p, 720p, etc), and even initiates a download (as the context window asking where to save, rename etc comes up). But the download fails pretty much immediately (within 5-10 secs).
However, instead of asking 'report' (as it usually did/does), it simply gives the following error message: "Sadly we failed at downloading that specific media."
So, the problem hasn't been fixed even by switching to the latest stable version. And since I cannot download from YT, I cannot ascertain the status of my other/original problem, i.e. why the app had non-English (?German) as the 'auto-detected' language & downloaded the videos in that language...despite all my settings being "English(US)"?!
Anyway, would love some help...or even something about why all this is happening, and when it might be rectified...

Another update: Okay...some more weird behaviour from the app.

1. Apart from not downloading YT videos, it is downloading videos in pretty much every format it allows/is compatible with from many other sites.
2. On YT, I noticed that the downloading behaviour is erratic: It mostly won't download (as detailed in previous update as well), but, from time to time, occasionally, it'll allow the download of some random video. On trying to download the same video again (one can do that by refreshing the page), it usually won't download that very video it just allowed to be randomly downloaded!
   Also, I also noticed that at times it'll allow download in a specific format/quality only (like MP4, 720p only -- won't download other formats/quality), and at times it'll allow to download in MKV format, but not MP4! Weird!
3. Another weird thing is this: Previously, in the past, the 'discovered' media would be 'visible' in all the tabs (Firefox); but now, only that particular tab's media/video is visible, even though other videos are still 'discoverable' (in their respective tabs) -- it also doesn't matter whether the video is playing or not...Interesting...!
   Anyway, just thought to share these interesting observations. Dunno if they'll be helpful in diagnosing anything or solving anything...
