Bought liscence for Chrome but it says it won't work in chrome, need to use Firefox. But you say liscences are not transferrable

Bought liscence for Chrome because it is my usual browser but when i went and try to download a video it says it won't work in chrome, says it is a youtube video even if it is not.

If i try to use firefox, i get a anoying QR code in the vdo because i cannot transfer liscence not transferrable.

1. Why sell chrome liscences if you know chrome will block them ?

2. how can i transfer it to firefox since this seems to be my only option ?

3. Do i have to get a refund and buy it again ?

You need to purchase Firefox or Edge if you want to download from Youtube.

So i need to purchase twice the same product eventhough i had no way to know it wouldnt work with chrome that's what you say ?

And why have distinctive liscence per browser ? A liscence is for a user, why want to add control layer over which browser he installs it ?

Anyway, i now have my opinion on this product.

btw i never was able to use it, when i bought it in 2021, and saw it wouldn't work, i used (free) 4k videoDownloader + since then.

it's only recently when i fell into a case where that free app won't work that i came back to the one i paid, and never will be able to use...

I was working with the app on Chrome, and everything worked perfectly. When purchasing the license, I didn’t notice that it was for Firefox. I installed Firefox, activated the license, but the app is not working properly: it downloads videos, but they don’t play — only a green screen appears. The companion app, etc., is installed.
