Running paid full version on FireFox, also am a member in the app store for the beta version, which shows as 9.5.0.0. HOWEVER, I uninstalled it entirely and installed the latest stable showing a higher 9.5.0.2.

The video is detected - but I hit the download button, and it shows a failure.

Tried ensuring I have the latest updates, restarting FF, etc... Still the same result.

I do not work for VDH. I am just another user. Also, please read #2214.

There's some other discussions in here within the past couple of days where I show how I am able to download from YouTube without a problem. But I got a URL from the poster in those cases. You need to pretty much always post a URL or you're not going to get any meaningful help.

wtf does fixing VDH have to do with "My account was unjustly suspended"? I can see why you're banned if you keep linking people to useless shit.

I am new and not sure how to post properly, but I had similar issue and it was youtube blocking my downloads.
It would work once a day for a stream (maybe 2 now, it was unlimited for a while) then all failures. So frustrating. In post #2190 he suggested a vpn to get a new IP. Perfection. I can now dl many files. If that gets blocked I jump to another server.

I upvoted Davids post as I also have this issue, only difference is that I was using the VDH client for the Edge web browser Version 138.0.3351.109 (Official build) (64-bit).

If you get a failure, you did too many downloads #2190 (comment) or the music video is protected with DRM.

Might as well update folks here with what little additional information I have: At this point - All I can tell is that it seems to be somewhat randomized. Sometimes when I try to download it will give me that simple error. Then I might try the next day at a random time and it works. I can not find any consistency on when this error generates vs. not.

I continue to use the same VDH on the same Firefox browser with the same setup/internet. So... basically.... My tip thus far is if you get this similar error, I would just randomly try again another day, or 6-12 hours later in the day, etc.
