Hi jcfrog would source code githubs of link sniffers be helpful at all for the current 10.0 project RTMP/RTMPE/HLS/HDS I guess are the most requested features after their websites stopped working. Ok so the CoApp premium features were took off of it to make it freeware/donationware again as we were just donating and paying what we liked for a VDH premium code anyway by the end of the shareware era but that doesn't mean we shouldn't go all into the sites it works on now seeing as we now have to rewrite code for working with the old freeware/donationware methods now modern app revision rather than just having it work straight on the premium CoApp now? Well I would say that exotic protocols is the highest priority for turning source code into VDH code as it is going to make DRM videos just work again becasue they are usaully DRM because they have been changed to the RTMP/RTMPE/HDS/HLS protocol systems to protect the video but DRM had been hacked for years with RTMP snaggers already I used to use the RTMPDump one myself and it was silky smooth on Spotify though whilst it did rip them perfect it dumped them as a .flv and you had to use Flv Extract a seperate tool to get the working music file from it also got the segented parts videos from wrestling websiotes to go RTMP as well and merged them into a flv container file but with the proper file inside again but it just worked. Maybe in VDH it won't give it the flv container but just grab the file with it's orignal container maybe it was the RTMPDumpHelper which did the flving though but that was required to GUI the protocol ripper but now it's obsolete detects nothing on modern version browsers sadly it was my favorite before VDH becasue it just worked and got everything but now I feel VDH has to support that protocol themselves now that everyone is upgrading to RTMPS DRM files suddenly and it's HLS/HDS spin offs in modern generation as well but the original which latest version of the original DRM protocol is still 12 years ago it's probably still on many sites as well and probably not as many on later HLS/HDS formats but still all 3 I would say is required for a full detection. DRM Video https://github.com/mstorsjo/rtmpdump Up to date YouTube detections in source code form probably better for updating Youtube than just looking at Martins FMT's becasue it is the detections source code that downloaded all of the videos of the exotic formats they list on there to begin with from. https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp Audio "most work already in rtmpdump and the later spinoffs for DRM anyway so don't really need their own codes unless they don't detect" https://github.com/Rafiuth/Soggfy I guess source codes are the solutions to every issue VDH has encountered lately especially RTMP and even the new YT-DLP becasue even if we already have HDS and HLS detection for later protected with not so dashed but also in it's own right segmenting format videos and audio files but we never had RTMP detection for the sites to update to DRM but to use the old RTMP method for DRM and not HDS/HLS era DRM but thats what they use as to protect files they use something different from regular http sniffing thats why it is DRM. Even though it no longer works since the same magic date of 12 years ago when all the browsers updated themselves to systems that the gui wouldn't detect a window open anymore I do have memories of using RTMP Dump Helper all the time to direct rip ROH Wrestling TV for watching on the real TV screen. I would download it with the RTMP Dump take the proper format out of the flv container with Flv extract then use mp4 box to put the audio back with the video in it's true mp4 container with no loss in quality because when dumping to flv it said it was an mp4 format video it was a silly thing that the DumpHelper GUI did though saving it in the flv container which no TV could understand the mp4 file like that. Then after I would finish with it I'd sling it in the bin as I do things for the usage I need it before then sling it it's like the radio shows thing. |

ok I am able to download this from chrome but not on edge browser. the problem is i have edge premium subscription and on chrome it allows only 2 videos but after that it asks to wait for 120 min because i don't have subscription for chrome. can I transfer my edge premium subscription to Firefox because after ver 10 update edge browser extension not detect videos at all. |

Yeah, that was stupid but the actual behavour should be VDH greys itself out on DRM chainlink websites you are right we don't want the app to ever be in legal problems but at the same time it still needs to support RTMP protocol on non DRM websites to use the protocol for streams thats what I actually meant it justs gives support to many more streaming websites in general but the VDH app needs to grey it out when it is DRM though or just give a messege can't download because it's DRM if it still detects one and the app automaticlly stops the download from starting if it's DRM. RTMP has been the standard for british video websites for years. IPlayer was one of the first websites to ever use it then it went everywhere and no chainlink logo on IPlayer so it would be a testing ground for RTMP if it was ever supported for non DRM websites only VDH logo blocked from showing any colours on DRM just greyed out. Even though DRM websites might use RTMP in their own right the app can stop it's RTMP permissions when the app sees the logo on a site and just keep itslef greayed out and not detect video links on any site with the logo. That way we get safe RTMP support so we have more websites working but all the sites with that logo would be deemed unsafe for the app no detection. But yeah, I'd actaully love some basic RTMPDump support where the DRM is blocked from being detected but the non DRM websites using the protocol can finally be downloaded again in the days that RTMPDumpHelper is no longer working with browsers and there is no alternative GUI for RTMP. And as you yourself said the DRM websites probably were always blocked from RTMP Dumping anyway because the developers of that wouldn't have been able to stay around and their protocol snooper would have been took down years ago but the code is still on there for software developers if they were at risk of legal issues by putting DRM detection in there they would have been banned from github. I think the issue v1naym is having though is more of a Star leaving Disney and ColorsTV leaving Paramount and them both creating Jio Hotstar which in return it has become running on a different system probably even dare I say it an RTMP system without DRM. |
