I'm too scared after these horror stories already to update it might not work on dj mix audio sites anymore but then again YouTube might be fixed a bit more something I was angry at for a counter arguement it hasn't automaticlly updated yet but do I dare to try it or do I just wait for auto or wait for a quick fix to the horror stories. lol

But then again I remember how it worked before all the premium CoApp stuff and instead focus on donations for the buisness part and building the program up as just plain downloadhelper and focued on getting as many both audio and video sites working as humanlly possible in the first place it was the better project just a lot slower I felt I actually hope that this brings us back to that but with the downlaod speeds it gained from the CoApp days still there. Rather than pre fixed prices for a premium which it's sole feature was only to merge 2 hashes together when it was like this before it actaully focused on the sites and detection and download side.

I won't be missing CoApp if they are focusing on doing it all in the software again anyway. But on the flip side the horror stories so far of the inital version in the new version up makes you want to wait for a bug fix but then we don't know how long until FireFox itself updates V9.5 to V10.0 but it hadn't for me so far so for now I'll wait for 10.0.1. for the sites already horror storied up to be fixed then get it if it hadn't already auto got it by then as although it's a pain I at least have a bit of YouTube downloading currently so at the moment it's not worth it justt for YouTube to be a bit better although it''s the website I wanted to work better in the first place.

But then with these horror stories happening I might lose the Nation Radio for Dr. Fox, Mixcloud and Soundcloud all the audio stuff I use which is still working in the old one more of the weight than a YouTube still partially working on the old one.

It's like 3-1 in a game of sport but the 1 is still working most of the time but when the sites with the horror stories are back working on the new back to focusing on sites version as to be honest people just donated to the project for a lower price and asked if they could have premuim for their donation anyway and all the CoApp did anyway was pritty much a fixed price offering higher than a donation cost to join up your files with the premium most of us just got on donations anyway.

I think the project was better before premium and this is technically going to bring us back to that project. When they started focusing on full price premium and the CoApp they stopped the focus on the audio side altogether with it only detecting sites with an mp3 format or if lucky a Mixcloud or Soundcloud with aac and ogg on it.

Hopefully dare I say it we can get a Spotify working properly now it's back to like this again. I remember back in the days when the software worked in browsers having to use something called RTMPDump and for ripping out your browser RTMPDumpHelper even thoughn the browsers got a new format for plugins since then so the dump helper can no longer detect a link from the browsers now.

RTMP Dump Helper was far better than the CoApp in the first place though it just picked up and joint any RTMP which is the direct link beginnings of the DRM format for some websites lets put it that way but it also got files from HTTP as well.

I wonder if it's possible for devs to reverse it to work in modern browsers but also put it straight in the VDH software so it's loaded in straight from the software which is already in your browser and it would detect stuff again that would be cool.

But the RTMP Dump on it's own is just command line software the dumphelper was it's own thing not a part of it anyway to give a native GUI interface like a VDH to begin with.
