Can't activate the 10.x VideoHelper App

What's your issue?

Hi since the new update I have no option to activate my VDH and when I click on recovery purchase I don't get the email for the 6 digit code.

Why is this always such a hastle with this app and licensing?! Just let people create accounts and they can login with the license. This is probably the most annoying software I've ever used.

I do not work for VDH. I am just another user. Also, please read #2214.

Seems to me I've read something about this somewhere. Apparently, Edge is enough like Chrome that the Chrome version of VDH kinda sorta works on Edge. My vague recollection is that Edge is actually based on Chrome but it has some Microsoft tweaks so the 2 browsers are not identical. But it's not really the right way to do things to run the Chrome VDH on Edge. Now, I don't know what @jcfrog Jérôme is going to say about switching your Chrome license to an Edge license. That's between you & him. He actually does work for VDH. I have a suspicion you're going to have to buy a license for VDH for Edge if you want to make things work on Edge, while at the same time you're going to have to keep your license for VDH for Chrome in order to keep things working there. But like I say, that's between you & Jérôme. I use Firefox myself so I'm not really the best person to answer these questions.

Hi I've also bought the Chrome version in 2022 and I switched to use Edge later that year with no problem until now is it possible to switch license (if top up needed) ?
