How to remove VDHelper from the sidebar?

I want to have an option to take my VDHelper out of the sidebar. At least, if there is one, I didn't find it that easy. I bothers me that I can't get it out of there. Anyways I thank you so much for helping us to fight the corps. efforts to force us to pay for using basic browsing features that should never be denied.
