Suddenly stopped detecting videos anywhere EXCEPT YouTube (Firefox)

Hi -

Today is the first day in a few weeks that I've tried to use VDH (Firefox), and it has changed so that the ONLY site where it's detecting anything is YouTube, which isn't one that's a priority to me. Until this last try it worked so well, on so many sites.

I have tried resetting settings, and clicking reload app. I cleared cache and cookies, and restarted Firefox and the pc. Nothing seems to help. Out of maybe 7-10 sites where I've had no problem downloading from in the not-very-distant past, the ONLY one where videos are still detected is YouTube.

Any suggestions on remedies I can try? Thanks.

Does the browser need updating ? I would have suggested close & open Firefox but you've done that.
Maybe reboot computer.

I had already tried rebooting several times before posting.

This is Firefox 115esr, which Mozilla has said it will continue to support on W7 until at least September. But you reminded me that I have a second W7 computer with an identical setup (for Windows, Firefox and VDH), except that it has the 32-bit version of Firefox 115esr, while this pc that's now giving me problems has the 64-bit version. (Both pc's have 64-bit Windows, though.) And I find that that one is still working as expected with VDH.

I thought maybe the antivirus could be blocking something on the problem pc, but I can't find anything in the AV security history log to suggest that.

The anti virus would only effect the companion app. The detecting is done in the extension and it's the current stable version.
The only other thing is remove the extension and install it again.

That worked!  Thank you.  I had spent a couple hours trying so many different things (I won't go into all of them here), including disable/re-enable.  But in the end all it took was was a minute to remove the app then add it back. It's still odd that before the fix YouTube downloading continued to work fine while it had stopped detecting videos on every other site I tried  But no matter, it's working again.  Thanks for this great extension. Maybe this isn't the place to suggest enhancements, but when I am offered several similar-looking options for download of a video and one of them fails, it's offered up again and becomes hard to keep track of which one(s) already failed vs which one(s) I haven't tried yet.  It could be useful if the the failed version(s) could be individually flagged in some way so that I know to switch to the other(s).
