I think you should edit out you download history, it's not important to your issue. |

@Godzilla1965 , I didn't supply some of the information you think is important. I'll explain why. Using Firefox 142.0 , 9.5.0.2 stable extension, companion app version 2.0.19 on Windows 10. The extension does all the detecting on youtube, the OS, the browser and companion app do not do the detecting. There are current issues with age restriction ,private video and member only videos ( no detection on these videos at the moment ) |

Hello, I observe the same problem with this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wj3Dm2LL2c&t=3486s , a tv show episode containing one adult scene... It requires sign in to watch it. So I suppose I will never be able to download that ? Any hopes mb in a future release ? |

Neither using the known YouTube workaround for recognizing different video formats nor simply on a 'usual open YT-video' VDH can detect a video at all - the 'forced recognition' also doesn't work.
This is a completely new problem, because I downloaded a few tutorials during the last days - without any problem
