August 19, 2025: Extension no longer detects YouTube videos

I made a post nine days ago to alert everyone that YouTube was again making moves to restrict content access. Videos were detected, but downloads would fail before any progress was made. Oddly, a video that failed to download one day might download the next.

As of this morning, the extension no longer detects any video on YouTube.

I hope the author that get this ironed out in short order.

I see it working, try rebooting and check for browser updates. And use the stable version, it has fixes the beta doesn't have.

It didn't work for me either and if @Mattmjs don't have problems, it would help to find out the version of VDH and CoApp he uses, as well as: Are these videos downloaded on Windows, Linux, Apple? Which browser is used, because VDH as well as many other AddOns work on compatible browsers as well, so please stop replying that general, @Mattmjs .

You should refer to the response I just gave you in your own #2393. There is really no reason to post duplicate comments in multiple threads. It dilutes the usefulness of this forum.
