No no! Don't do that. At the moment, the general availability version of VDH for Firefox is newer than the latest beta. This has not historically been the case. But it is true now. Surely at some future date the beta will once again be newer than the general availability version. But that's the future. The present is that 9.5.0.2 is the latest version & you should not change that.

There's a lot of other discussions in here about problems with VDH on YouTube. You should look at those & see if you are really encountering a new problem. I suspect you are having the same problem as everybody else. There is no solution in VDH because the problem appears to be how YouTube works. Read other discussions to learn more.
