Should default cron job run deploy hooks after renew?

Hey Folks,

I'm seeing a strange issue where deploy hooks aren't being run after automagic renewal via the default cron job that's created... but perhaps my expectations are off. SHOULD the deploy hooks that were originally used for certificate installation be firing when a renewal is processed via the default cron job?
