acme.sh github installer vs https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/acme.sh

I see that acme.sh can installed via apt install acme.sh for Debian since https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/acme.sh now exists. It seems to be maintained by Debian Let's Encrypt(https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=team%2Bletsencrypt%40tracker.debian.org) who maintains certbot and other acme tools, I assume it seems to be safe.

Just worried if uninstall and cleanup including cron works fine.
Also, wanted to know if there is any pros and cons on choosing apt vs github method to install it. Is one preferred over other for Debian?

please use my github installer if you can. it will get the latest features and bug fixes.
