Support not validating input version

In some cases it might make sense to not validate the version being passed in, so there should be an input to allow the lookup to be skipped.

For example if you want to test a draft release before making it public the lookup doesn't work as it only supports live releases; but if you're creating the release you don't need the lookup component.
