"Reconciler error" in 0.9.3 controller

Hitting the same issue in 0.9.3, as previously mentioned in the thread #3562.
Thus I am unable to use 0.9.1, 0.9.2, and 0.9.3. From the above thread, the issue should have been addressed in 0.9.3.
