plugin of django-appointment to integrate with django cms, it would be perfect,
I have seen many ideas of appointment plugin with wordpress/ php frameworks, but for django not yet.

this app seems contain all features for scheduling appointment.

Hi @i-salameh95, thanks for testing the app. It's a great idea indeed for the plugin of django-appointment. Thing is, I have 0 experience in the matter. So if you have ideas, how-tos or even better, could do a pull request, that would be awesome.

I will make "apphook" which means integrate Django app into django cms, without writing many codes in django cms,
just small code for plugin.
I will do pull request when I finish doing that.

An apphook is a good idea to include a "full app" like django-appointment on a djangocms page.

You can also create a plugin for djangocms (a specific item that you can add on any page, which can have its own config, or be linked to a config stored elsewhere in another app).

Actually, I was using django cms 3.11, and I have some aldryn dependencies, so they make conflict while trying to add django-appointment to my project, at the end I have create some simple appointment plugin without using advanced django-appointment application

I'm currently working creating plugins for django CMS (Exit intent popup) And django CMS form builder (push form to webhook) and I'm very interested into django-appointment and I plan to do apphook and plugins but for latest django CMS version.

Hi guys, I've been trying to wrap my head around Django CMS and honestly, I'm still figuring out what the hell you're all talking about. The whole plugin ecosystem is pretty foreign to me.

I might dive into it eventually when I have some free time to experiment, but for the moment I'm probably not the most reliable person to tackle this. If someone else (maybe @rolandf as you're already working on similar things) wants to take a crack at building a CMS plugin wrapper around the package, I'd be happy to review and merge a solid PR.
