setting up grub works really well and you make it fairly easy. Thank you!

Im the 'IT' guy of my friend group so i have to repair a PC now and then. This includes setting up windows once in a while. It would be nice to use my newly aquired all-purpose-usb-stick for this too, so i do not have to flash another one just for installing windows once and than use it again for other tasks. I would also have the right windows version in my pocket all the time.
Is it even possible to boot into a windows iso via grub?
Im not as smart as my family thinks i am, so i ran into a dead end quickly while trying to set it up myself.
Could you look into that and tell me what places i would need to investigate to figure that one out?

I was trying to do this as well and just finished a write-up if you are still interested.

As I understand, unlike Linux ISOs, the Windows ISO cannot be booted directly via GRUB loopback. The only solution I found was to extract the contents of the Windows ISO and chainload the EFI binary. The process is not quite as convenient since the USB must be specially partitioned for the Windows ISO. Ventoy or multiple USBs might be better approaches.
