How to parse a pivot column date

I'm having trouble converting date values

This seems to work fine:

 @column.date({
    serialize: (value) => value ? value.toISODate() : value,
  })
  public birthday: DateTime

But when it comes to pivot table

@computed({
    serializeAs: 'toDate',
  })
  public get toDate () {
    const pivotColumn = this.$extras.pivot_to_date

   // returns 2020-09-17T16:00:00.000Z but on db is 2020-09-17
    return pivotColumn
  }

This is what I've tried so far and it works for me

@computed({
    serializeAs: 'fromDate',
  })
  public get fromDate () {
    const pivotColumn = this.$extras.pivot_from_date

    try {
      const dt = JSON.stringify(new Date(pivotColumn))

      // 2020-09-17
      return dt.slice(1,11)
    } catch (error) {
      return pivotColumn
    }
  }

Yes, currently there is no way to hook into the values returned by the pivot table. Something that needs to be improved/fixed in the next release
