Scopes

Hello, I am new to this community and would like to understand by myself how it is safe to use teslamate with token generated by this tool. Having read the https://developer.tesla.com/docs/fleet-api/authentication/overview#scopes page, I thought i would get answers by checking the "scope" parameter of the API call by the tool. But I realized the only scope requested was opendid, email and offline_access. Which seems to even not cover the access to the vehicle data and location. How the generated tokens allow to access the vehicle data without having included vehicle_device_data and vehicle_location scope? What am I missing? I would be very happy if someone could explain to me.
