"open selected map node" function

First of all thank you for this wonderful tool that really allows you to work in depth on complex data. From my point of view this addon allows to have the advantages of an exploration of thought (obsidian or roam reasearch type) AND the advantages of freeplane for the manipulation of the map.

However, I have one concern. It seems that I can't seem to center the addon ("Actions" --" "open selected node map") on a node that already contains links. Is this normal behavior?

I can re-create the problem you have reported. Thanks for pointing it out to me. I will work investigate and see if I can fix the problem.

It seems that whenever a node has multiple incoming connectors then 'Action' -> 'open selected node' does nothing which is definitely not the correct behaviour

PS. I have been using Obsidian for a few weeks now and it is a great tool. There is a mind map community plugin for it now which may be of use to you. Not sure if it handles connections other than parent child relationships.

I upgraded Freeplane to v1.8.11 and the node with multiple links is now working so I think something in the Freeplane API has been fixed by the Freeplane Developers. Note though using the View Menu to start MapInsight is, I believe, still a Freeplane bug of some sort so you will need to keep running the MapInsight_V1_2 script from the scrips menu.

Let me know if Freeplane 1.8.11 solves the issue for you.

So it's a weird one because it does seem to work with v1.8.11, but it seems to me that I already had this version of Freeplane in the first question. I'll look into it and let you know.

On my side, I have no problem to launch MapInsight from the "view" menu.

Finally very happy to learn that there is a community plugin project for Obsidian. I've been using org-roam on Emacs for months (very very good too) but I've also been trying Obsidian for a few weeks now because the use of markdown is more widespread than the org-mode markup language. Could you please tell me where the discussion about this plugin takes place and what's the goal ?

It's been a long time that I would like to effectively combine freeplane with such a system. At the moment, I edit .md files from freeplane from time to time using Edo's scripts...
