I am also anxiously awaiting this change. What is the holdup? I would love to help if I had my bearings. Thanks for your efforts in supporting this!

Also, I'm curious where this breaking change is coming from exactly? Odd there is no backwards compatibility with AI SDK v5 updates that mastra supports. Is it because mastra released its updates before ag-ui to default to AI SDK v5?

Looks like a build got committed. It will be drastically lower once that is git ignored.

Mastra has two separate methods for running agents stream and streamVNext. This PR is adding support for the latter.
