Hi!

Thanks you very much for Polaris! It looks awsome and i really appreciate the look and feel of the application and how you implemented the playlist management and navigation.

After some times playing around i've found myself thinking about some things that, for now, prevent me to switch to Polaris and i just wanted to share them with you :)

• I'd really like to be able to import and export my already existing playlists as they are important to me and i also like to backup them sometimes.
• It could be cool to manage the navigation panes size, sometimes when using like half windows, the most important informations get hid.
• Is there any chances for a subsonic API support? This could be great to take advantages of all the already existing clients!

The playlist import (I guess from m3u playlists?) should be pretty straight forward. Literally the first program I wrote in rust does that. The question is, should the importing be done automatically while indexing, and if so should it overwrite existing playslists? Or should it be a manual one time thing?

Absolutely, talking about m3u playlists.
On my side, i only need to import export from GUI.
I'm not much into automatic import of playlist found in folders, especially if there's a chance for it to overwrite anything.

Regarding the implementation, a great function could be to mark missing songs listed in playlists. so if you rename a song, it wont be removed from playlist and you can add it back or definitly remove it.
