Failing to build

I'm trying to build the library for macOS and other platforms and it is failing.
here is the runner with different platforms
maybe I'm not passing the right parameters.
it would be great to be able to provide a ZLIB through ZLIB_ROOT / ZLIB_LIBRARY / ZLIB_INCLUDE_DIRS

Hello.
Currently zlib is built from sources, same as other dependencies.
What is current issue with building zlib?

Here are my runners trying to build FreeImageRe. it seems zlib is not being downloaded

   Review the errors above.

In fact I got another fork working yesterday static for all platforms, so my issue is solved (the hard one was MSVC)

My main problem was trying to build libtiff separately from FreeImage and duplicated symbols. all solved now.

Great work, cmake is modern and tidy here.
looking forward to see it working, or have the correct instructions to build.

It looks like cmake configuration has to be adjusted to work on macOS. Sadly, I dont have any access to that platform
