Sioyek (Windows) crashes when opening too large of a file

Attempting to open a pdf with 3,247 pages, around 24 MB, and Sioyek crashes immediately. It works completely fine otherwise with the rest of my files which are much smaller. I can open the same file in Adobe Acrobat with no issue.

Hmmm is it possible for you to compile the latest commits in the development branch and test it there? I can't reproduce the issue on my builds, it is possible that it has since been fixed.

Note that 23 MB and 3000 pages is nothing. I have tested sioyek on multiple GB PDF files with more than 15000 pages with no issues.

Not actually. It was a large file I've opened a couple of times before that kept crashing Sioyek. I realized that it was probably due to corruption of a shared database which is synced over multiple devices. I managed to reopen the file after removing the shared database. It now works like a charm again. Thanks for your prompt reply.
