AIOD-theme-WordPress

A responsive and modern WordPress theme, designed to help you create a beautiful and professional website for AIOD projects.

The theme is based on ACF, therefore, it requires ACF to function properly.

By default, the theme will come with 3 custom post types already created: Results, Events, and News.

The theme as 8 templates wich are:

  • Consortium
  • Contacts
  • Homepage
  • Policies
  • Project
  • Target
  • Vision
  • Work

🚀 Getting Started

These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.

Prerequisites

What things you need to install the software and how to install them:

  • PHP 7.4 or higher
  • WordPress 6.2 or higher (Recommended)

📥 Installation

  1. Download the AIOD-theme-WordPress.zip file from the latest release on GitHub
  2. In your WordPress admin dashboard, navigate to Appearance > Themes
  3. Click the "Add New" button at the top of the screen
  4. Click the "Upload Theme" button and select the AIOD-theme-WordPress.zip file
  5. Click "Install Now" and then "Activate"

💻 Usage

AIOD-theme-WordPress is highly customizable and offers a range of options in the WordPress theme settings. To access this settings, navigate to Theme Settings in your WordPress admin dashboard.

Here are some of the things you can customize:

  • Site Identity (Logo, Site Title, Tagline)
  • Colors
  • Header (Layout, Background, Menu)
  • Footer (Layout, Background, Copyright Text)
