postgres CDC - database load concerns

Hi all!
I have a few questions :)

• I set up airbyte against our development postgres database (RDS) using CDC (to BQ): I saw two concerning issues: EBS byte balance dropped rapidly and free space also went down massively. It's a 20GB instance and the replication logs ate 10+GB (the database itself was ca 1GB). It was replicating a small 'postgres database' (very confusing terminology by pg, postgres can have multiple 'databases' in the same instance) with ~ 70 tables. Now I am very hesitant to add this to our production database which is in itself a magnitude larger and has like 50-100 'postgres databases'
• Is there a downside to using the xmin replication instead? (this works against our read replicas, so in particular the load issue of CDC is not going to matter i believe)
• We are very interested in improving our postgres -> BQ latency. I see that a sync with xmin took 15min (so 15s or so per table). Would CDC be faster here? Can one configure airbyte to parallise the different table? Do I need to create a connection per table?
• Is there a way to say I want to replicate all postgres databases - including new ones which will come up in the future?
