Creating a source from a custom connector

Hello,

We are currently using aribyte cloud and have created custom connectors that ping a public api for data.

We wanted to create sources from these custom connectors, but it seems it is not a currently supported function from airbyte clouds API, only the UI

I don't know how much work it would take to do this, but wanted to get a discussion going about it to see if this was at all possible and the timeline associated with it.
