S3 to BigQuery: Denest properties to table columns

I want to import parquet files from AWS S3 to BigQuery.
Is there a way to denest properties?

E.g. if you have an object

"traits":{"nickname":"test","email":"[email protected]","signup_type":"email"}}

we want to store it in following bigquery columns

traits_nickname
traits_email
traits_signup_type

Is there such option?
