Source File and aws repository

Hello everyone,
I have a problem using the "source-file" connector using an aws bucket as the repo for the file in question (a simple csv). When I try to validate the connector it returns an aws region mismatch error. Looking at the connector code (client.py) I could not find a way to specify the aws region, so I am forced to modify the connector in my onprem installation. Is there any way to pass as a variable the aws region to use?
