Cassandra source connector or airbyte/source-jdbc to include cassandra driver?

Is it possible to add a Cassandra source connector to allow us to extract data fromCassandra DBs? Or if not can the airbyte/source-jdbc image have the ability to connect to cassandra? It seems to be using a postres driver when i attempt to connect to cassandra db and fails as a result.
