Elasticseach Connector based on Index pattern

For now the basic elasticsearch connector recognize all the the indices present in a ES cluster, but I for example if you implement a index rotation based on a pattern for example : app-2025-07-11 , you don't have a way to garantie new indicies to be synced without a manual selection each day of the rotation.
adding this would be useful I presume
