Airbyte - abctl connection issue

Hello Everyone,
Currently facing an issue with airbyte abctl and connecting to my mssql db.
airbyte version is 1.7.1
when i try to setup a source I get this error and I am not sure why.
Sync used to work in the past.
I checked everything in terms of network connection troubleshoot but still getting the same error
Configuration check failed
State code: 08S01; Message: The TCP/IP connection to the host , has failed. Error: "Connect timed out. Verify the connection properties. Make sure that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port. Make sure that TCP connections to the port are not blocked by a firewall.".
